The Riverside Theatre 2025-2026 Season
During Riverside Theatre’s season, Aleigha served as the season Wig Supervisor; collaborating with the creative team to create styles reflecting their vision, and producing paperwork to ensure consistency during show runs. Riverside’s season consists of 4 mainstage and 2 black box productions.
In addition to her role as Wig Supervisor, Aleigha served as the Wig Designer for Almost, Maine, one of Riverside’s black box productions.
“This production of Little Shop of Horrors had not one dull moment. Every aspect, from tech and lighting to costumes, sound, and performances worked in perfect harmony. The audience remained invested throughout the entire production, and the consistent laughter proved this show hit every comedic beat. As I overheard one audience member exclaim upon leaving, ‘This is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen.’ I couldn’t agree more.”

“This is dark comedy at its finest, sophisticated, clever, and executed with remarkable skill...
Every member of this production, from the performers to the extensive creative team, has contributed to something truly special. This is a must-see show that showcases exactly why Riverside Theatre continues to be a gem of Florida’s cultural landscape.”

“Riverside never fails to impress. This show did exactly what theater is intended to do. It made me happy, sad, bereft, hopeful, uncomfortable and gave me pause.”

“Hats off to designers Aleigha Cheng (wigs) and Anna Hilbery (costumes), whose hair and clothes help the actors with a variety of looks and attitudes to flesh out their galleries of characters. A big part of the fun is seeing what permutations of hairstyles and winter wear they’ll turn up in next.”
Almost, Maine
Directed by Allen Cornell
Wig Design by Aleigha Cheng
Almost, Maine was produced in Riverside’s blackbox space in conjunction with the mainstage season. Thus, Aleigha served as the Wig Supervisor for the mainstage, and the Wig Designer for the secondary stage simultaneously.
“The costumes are deeply expressive of both the time period and each character’s personality, with a clever color coordination that gives the three leading ladies their own visual identity... The wigs are gorgeous and strikingly realistic, a feat that deserves its own round of applause.”
